Community Pancake Breakfast
September 19, 2026 – 7:30 am – 9:30 am
A number families enjoyed our second free pancake breakfast for the Quitman community. The menu was pancakes, bacon, sausage, butter, syrups, and beverages (coffee, orange and apple juice, and milk). We had a great meal with great fellowship! We will be offering the breakfast regularly, the next one on the 3rd Saturday of November.
Ladies Ministry Fall Missions Project
Hygiene Bags for Incarcerated Women
A team from the church conduct a Worship Service for women incarcerated at the East Texas Treatment Center in Henderson, TX on the 3rd Thursday of each month each 5th Thursday as well. The Ladies Ministry assembled Hygiene Bags consisting of personal use items and these bags will be distributed to all women in the Center on December 18.
Old Settlers Reunion
Governor Hogg City Park
Mid-week Youth and Children’s Programs shifted to Old Settlers Reunion on Wednesday, October 29, with several adults assisting. The evening began with a devotional followed by a Church Battle of the Bands. During this time, Trunk or Treat was in the Pavilion Parking Lot. The evening ended with live music by The Erwins in the Pavilion.
Valentines for Local Nursing Home
Wednesday evening (January 29), QAG Youth made valentine cards which will be delivered to the residents of local nursing homes in February.
